Back online after a week being down?
Why was this corner in the web down?
Well the #1 reason would be change of providers. I am now hosted by my employer basically on my own computer amoung many other computers. It gives me total control over the software and hardware I run on the machine. If I want to run bleeding edge software, then I can do so. Oh and another improvement? I save money and I can host for friends if they want me too.
Why did it take so long?
I really was lazy to move it over. Honest answer…
Does it mean I’ll blog more?
Probably not… blogging has kind of taken a back seat in my life. Rather then bitching about my life, I make it a point to go out and do something about it. I got sick of Speakeasy, thus I got a new job type of deal. What will eventually happen is I’ll start taking more and more pics. I lost my digital camera during the move (big loss to be honest) and ever since then I have had SO many moments where I am like… I have to take a picture… but I can’t. This has GOT to change. I want to get a digital camera but I’ll see if I can get one for Xmas first. I have had three throwaway cameras collecting dust, 2 of em are full and the last one is ALMOST there… at that time you shall see a huge surge of pics.
Speaking of which… photogallery is offline probably for another week or so. Gallery 2 came out about a month ago, so I want to upgrade to that first.

Boy it has been some time. A lot has happened since I last updated. Biggest thing is starting my new (yes again) job @ digital.forest. Basically I get to work on a Mac @ work and at home now. Plus now I don’t need to pay for parking anymore. Reason for leaving Speakeasy was a lot of empty promises and really it starting to bother me. I really hope to stick with digital.forest for a while. I remember I had my doubts with Speakeasy and I was actually planning to never go there but I got fired from EDI because I was at the Speakeasy job interview, didn’t really have a choice in the end. In this case I went to the interview on my own time and got the job, put in my 2 weeks and have gracefully worked them. Tomorrow is my last day and I get a farewell party. Pretty cool for only a few months of service.
Last night was the one year anniversary with Cam. I can’t believe it has been a year already. I tell you that they blasted on by. I would have NEVER imagined to the life of me that I would be living with my girlfriend a year later, but it has been a rewarding and fun experience. We have our ups and downs, but every morning when I see her laying next to me I simply fall in love all over again. We celebrated our one year anniversary by going on the Spirit of Washington Dinner Train. It was really romantic. Thank god it didn’t rain (weatherman predicted rain) and the food was delicious. The train is certainly more bumpy the I imagined (trains are smooth as ice in Holland). It was definitely worth every penny. The couple next to us got engaged that night as well on their anniversary, it was very sweet.
Things are going great in the condo. Cam’s tires blew out this last Sunday, which was kind of a surprise to both of us. So there we were, Sunday afternoon at the only tire place open on Sunday… Firestone. Cam even remembered the Ford SUV incident from 2002. I certainly hope they have improved quality, I’d imagine they did because the government properly cracked their whip hard on ‘em.
Last week I saw Kelli(na) at the Renton Pool. It was fun catching up on what had happened in the last year. She has certainly been through a lot. First her dad got a stroke and then he ended up passing away early this year. Very sad experience. Overall she is doing okay but she has put college (EWU) on hold until she can get everything figured out. Surprisingly she is doing stuff with computers, I never expected her to be doing computer science.
Anywho… going to make myself some dinner.
