Last week Cam and I went to Mount Rainier NP and we stayed there for a long weekend. We made a ton of picks on throw-away cameras because I seem to have misplaced my digital camera at the moment. Once we fully use them I will get them digitized to put something up on my photo gallery.
In any case it was great up in the mountains. Got a nice color from it and a good long walk at Sunrise, only open 3 months a year and very beautiful up there. Walked for a good 16 miles up at Sunrise then went to Paradise and ate at Paradise Inn. Overall very great.
Love spending time with the girlfriend. Our biggest concern is finances. I am pretty much a stingent prick really when it comes to that. So my goal is to loosen up a little bit. Instead of taking it out on Cam I should really be taking it out on the gas pump. Spent $90 in the last 10 days on gas (so ok I did drive 700 miles). I remember when I just got my license and it only took $17 to fill up my tank every week to get to the airport, now its double that (actually $36 last night). I get decently paid and probably a lot better then most my age, but this is really starting to get expensive.
I guess I really can’t complain, Amsterdam, NL is where gas is the most expensive around the world according to CNN & MSNBC. It is $6.87 per gallon. They expect that by the end of 2006 it will be $5 a gallon. I can’t wait until I can afford a hybrid, I am seriously considering getting one in the future.
So now that I have a pretty decent paying job (hey I make more then a teacher ;-)) I need to start going to school more proactively. My goal is get my financial aid in so I can start going to school part time. I really need to become more proactive.
That is all for now…

Alright I really have no excuse for not updating. It isn’t like anyone cares anyway. How are things in my new home. Well they couldn’t be any better and I really am serious about that. Things are going spectacular. In the beginning Cam and I had our little disagreements but we are really beginning to work with one another. Alright so I am a little lazy when it comes to cleaning up my own stuff, but I don’t do it on purpose. I need to get more proactive when it comes to cleaning and all that good stuff. Then again I do handle the finances and I bet Cam would freak if she did. “Oh my god, $20 for internet… what! $800 for the mortgage… ahhh alll this money” Seriously I can just see it happen… **imagines it with his eyes close** yup.
Alright I don’t want this to become a total work related post. This past weekend it was my bro’s bday and we went to an awesome Japanese restaurant in downtown Seattle, however it was super expensive. I felt bad ordering something. Then at the end my bro had to ruin it all with his attitude towards “public affection”. All my sister wanted to do was hug and kiss him on the cheek and he just wouldn’t have it. Weird guy, makes ya think though. He isn’t like this when Kevin (his friend) isn’t around. Really makes someone think.
That is all for this update…
