Ugh I heard something I didn’t like too much today.
Apparently my Cammy Cam is being implicated for sending an email to a certain individual because the username is part of the address looks like her screen name, brokenangelgurl. I got this information directly from a pretty close source. People that truly know Cam know that Cam hates starting trouble. Actually she is quite the opposite. She normally tries to avoid trouble. Not to mention that she isn’t a back stabber. Now I don’t know all the little details but what I do know is this.
Cam’s screen name was used as username in an email to Breanne’s dad with the link to Ashraf’s blog. Breanne and Ashraf have been dating for a month now and I am very happy for them. I am glad that they both have each other. They have probably dating in secret as everyone knows how anal Breanne’s parents are. However I find it a sick joke to involve Cam.
Two reasons really.
1. I am Breanne’s ex boyfriend… big deal
2. Cam is friends with Ashraf.
Is someone out there trying to break up people’s friendships or trusts…. aka creating drama. Only time will tell…….
Some how I have a feeling my name will get mentioned in this. Oh well…. all I know is that I had nothing to do with it and I was surprised what Ashraf had told me. I knew about him and Breanne and like I said before I didn’t care that much. The only thing I did say (JOKINGLY) to Cam is that Ashraf was trying hard to copy me because while he was dating Breanne, he also started watching BSG so I told Cam… welp Cam if we ever break up… Ashraf is coming for ya!
Anywho…. I just had to post this little frustration of mine.

Things have been going good lately. Bought a gift for Cam’s bday and Vday. Actually her bday I have an event planned that will knock her socks off. Well maybe not as it involves dressing a little bit warm.

Yup… Battlestar Galactica has been renewed for a second season. It isn’t known whether if it will be a full season (24-26 episodes) or a half season (13 episodes). However… the biggest mystery… on what network it will run. Many don’t know but Sci-fi is owned by NBC Universal. Yup… NBC.. home of ER, past success of Friends, Frasier and too many other shows to list. Also home of the original Star Trek during the 60s which they cancelled after 2 years (ugh its an annoying show). Anyways… back to the subject. A few weeks ago NBC ran the cut version of the Battlestar Galactica pilot movie. They basically almost ripped a hour from the original movie that aired over 2 nights back in 2003 on Scifi. The movie was VERY successful on NBC and was number in almost all rating slots for that night. For the last 4 weeks Scifi has been airing the first season (13 episodes, which already finished airing on UK’s Skyone) with record numbers each week, last episode setting another record for highest rating for a mid season episode (since season premieres/finales normally have higher ratings, this episode had higher ratings then Stargate Atlantis season premiere, Sopranos season finales and BSG season premiere)… I think NBC didn’t really realize that they had a cash cow on their hands….
So now the rumor mill churns a little bit more. NBC is interested in airing the 1st & 2nd season on its own network (and stations) as a lot more people have a NBC affialite as station (channels 2-13) rather then an expanded basic cable channel (Scifi). Which means more ratings & money for NBC. I personally do NOT like this idea. Normally episodes that run on a affiliate network have to perform a lot better, have slimmed down content (because people are easier offended as a lot more people watch local channels).
I am happy none the less. Battlestar Galactica has been renewed for a 2nd season and that is GREAT news. It is a great show and it caters to a lot of crowds. This show has a lot going for it self and it really gives everyone a reason to get cable once again instead of watching repeats of Law & Order on TNT on Friday night… give BSG a try at 10pm.
In other news…. Enterprise, the Star Trek based shows that made most trekkies scream for their parents, was finally cancelled this week. Finally…. I just hope that they can come out with a trek series like they had running in the 90s and start catering to the fans a little more.

Man the trip to Portland was awesome. Sean showed me a bunch of things and I now have access to the linux box at my work. Also I got my title changed from Order Desk to MIS Seattle / Order Desk. Pretty sweet stuff. The drive wasn’t that long either. A good 3 hours. Today I drove it back in 2 and a half if you don’t count the time I spent looking for a key chain. I should have just taken the one Naomi was offering me.
My last W2 came in today and the US gov’t owes me $941!! I am SO buying a Mac Mini out of that.
I can’t believe in the last two days that I have had 81 unique hits to my blog… damn…… It is good to see that 30% of the hits are using Firefox though… gives me a warm fuzzy feeling.
Welp that is it…. a super short entry by me.
