The ins and outs of Yvo’s life.

This weekend literally flew by. Cam had the entire weekend off and yesterday I planned us a day. Yes, I took “charge” because I know girls like that. First we went to Togo’s to eat lunch but they were remodeling so we went to McDonalds instead. Oh so NOT healthy. Oh well. McDonalds has been trying very hard to improve their image. They got rid of their supersize menu, which is a good thing I suppose. McDonalds is like Verizon Wireless. Once the biggest and now not anymore. Verizon Wireless has been doing very hard as well. Their plans are super competitive right now. They even got rid of their National Singlerate plan (no roaming what so ever) and incorporated those features (the no roaming AT all) into their America’s Choice plan for nothing more, they even added a 100 minutes to 400 minutes (depending on the plan). I think they are doing great to be more competitive. I like my Sprint service though… back to the post…. before I went on that tangent.
So we went to Pike Place Market after McDonalds. We took a lot of pics (check my photo gallery for mine). My sis took pics with her digital camera and Cam took pics with her manual (for school). It was a very pictureriffic day. We then took the monorail to Seattle Center where Cam and Amy went on a few rides. Everyone had a lot of fun. It certainly was more cold then today though. We took the monorail back and walked around Pike Place some more when we realized that our time we paid for parking had run out. Then we set course towards Gas Works park. Boy that park has a beautiful / amazing view of Seattle. It is on a hill as well so the people above Gas Works must have paid a fortune for their apartments / condos / homes.
The day ended by eating Paella my parents made for us. Our original plans were to go eat sushi (which we will do tonight instead). Paella is the national dish of Spain and it is oh so delicious.
Today consisted of being relaxed. Cam and my sis went to go develop Cam’s pictures at GRCC and I hung out. I uninstalled Cam’s car deck and I am going to get a Pioneer DEH-P7700MP instead. Good trusty Pioneer. I watched some episodes of Joey and we’re going to for sushi soon.
Welp… that is all… for now.

Wow tomorrow is already Wednesday. This week is flying by, seriously!
This week I decided that I am going to start living on my own, or start looking for a place. I signed up for a few roommate finders… should be an interesting hunt. Something horrible happened to one of my co-workers… Anna. Her sister-in-law was part of a shooting that took place in Yakima. The worst part is that the sister-in-law’s daughter was shot and killed and so was the father. I can’t even BEGIN to imagine on how they feel. Having lost your daughter & husband in a way like that. Unfortunately it looks like it was a targetted shooting, so there is more going on then that is being said.
So tonight I decided to work on my Myspace, because I made a username a very long time ago, but actually never filled it out. While I am doing it… the damn website goes down. So yeah… that just bites. Shows you that they need to do some upgrading instead of putting all that advertisement money in their pocket.
Anywho… that is really all for now.
Good day!!

Weekend so far is going good. I have been busy installing Cam’s new speakers & stereo. Too bad that I totally forgot to take pictures of the process. But let me tell you… it was a bitch.
To get the rear speakers installed I had to remove the entire backseat + trim. Finally I got it all removed and the speakers wouldn’t fit by about 1 inch. So I bought a grinder and I literally GRINDED the metal away. Now it fits and it is doing well. The deck is pretty nice deck, but too bad the audio output features (on how you can customize the way it sounds) isn’t as thorough as my Pioneer. The deck she has is a JVC KD-AR5000, not a bad deck at all and it has a touch screen. If the pioneers do suddenly come in the next 2 weeks I’ll probably swap it out. She only paid $200 for her JVC opposed to $380 @ Cartoys or $399 @ Crutchfield.com
Anywho… now I going to install the LAST speaker. Finally.

Well since I am back on my feet financially I can afford life’s deluxe features.
Tonight I got XM back and boy its a little different. Offers more channels but its $2 more a month. Oh well. It is good to listen to good music again. FM sucks in my car because i have a window antenna and living in Seattle that is a hassle. Then my CD player is good but it can’t play MP3s and its a hassle switching tunes, plus I am NOT going to replace my deck… I love my Pioneer unit. Maybe in the future.
Anywho… XM is back.
Today work was pretty laid back. I shared the pics from Portland with Cam. The only saddish thing that happened is that my biggest account is declaring bankruptcy, so my day involved cancelling their orders since they already owe EDI 50-60k.
I’m going to continue watching Smallville.
Later gator…

Man Valentine’s Day was awesome. It is still happening actually.
Cam and I went to Mamma Melina in Seattle for dinner. It was delicious. Since it was V-Day they had a 3 course meal for $35 a person. Pretty decent deal. The food was AWESOME, however the service was a little fast/rushed probably because the table we sat at was booked for the entire night.
I had a horse and carriage ride planned the only downfall… the weather. It was clear out but because of that it was extremely cold. Cam was wearing an amazing dress and had her hair & nails done. She looked terrific (she always does but now even better). So we are going to do the ride some time this summer. Maybe our 6th month anniversary in April… who knows.
Mamma Melina is such a romantic restaurant. I laugh and find it sad that people find restaurants like Bahama Breeze or The Keg romantic. Seriously… it is surprising that they know the color of their own shit… i mean poop. Anywho…. for those that like to copy or stuff… just hit up Seattle citysearch… they are great at telling you what is romantic.
Anywho…. V-Day continues for me… the night is young!!

Today is Valentine’s Day!!! The only day where you are supposed to be with your wife/husband/girlfriend/boyfriend/crush for at least 3 hours because that is what Hallmark told us to do.
If not… well then your just not really in love and someone isn’t willing to make a sacrifice or two.
With that said… I am working until 3pm and then treating Cam to a great dinner in Seattle but first… a horse and carriage ride…. OH YEAH!!!
Btw… this is MY first Valentine’s Day that I am actually with someone and I am damn well going to let everyone know……

Yay!!! The blog has moved to the new host.
I am now hosted by A Small Orange, aka ASO.com. Their website is located at http://www.asmallorange.com
I also updated the backend of the blog to Blog:CMS 3.6… nothing major here. I have to reconfigure the blog though to my liking over the next few days.
Yesterday I had my Bday and I had great times.
Cam gave me a ton of stuff.
She gave me….
-A shredder that shreds cds, floppys, paper (of course)
-Two shirts
-A sushi kit
-Tommy Hilfiger cologne
-Boxers
-A Jeopardy calender
I probably forgot something, but I’ll add that later. She also made a cake for me and gave me tons of balloons.
My parents gave me…
-Clothes (2x shirts, 2x pants)
-A king size comforter
-2x Seagate 200GB HD
-More blank DVDRs!!
We went to Ototo sushi. I’ll have pics up later.
My new blog version now includes a photo album thing so I will be seeing if I can make use of this.
Good day!!!
